1. Who we are

Selltrove is a commerce and services platform operated by Selltrove Ltd, registered in England and Wales (Company No. 17027087). We are the data controller for the personal data described here.

2. Data we collect

  • Account data — name, email, password (hashed), and business details you provide at sign-up.
  • Store & transaction data — products, orders, invoices and payment metadata processed through Stripe and PayPal. We do not store full card numbers.
  • Identity (KYC) data — where verification is required, identity details processed through our verification partners.
  • Usage data — pages visited, device and browser information, and cookies (see our Cookie Policy).
  • Communications — messages you send us and newsletter preferences.

3. How we use it

We use your data to provide and secure the platform, process payments and payouts, verify identity where required, provide support, send service and (with consent) marketing messages, and meet legal obligations.

We rely on contract (to provide the service), legitimate interests (to secure and improve the platform), consent (for marketing and non-essential cookies), and legal obligation (for tax, accounting and fraud prevention).

5. Who we share data with

We share data with payment providers (Stripe, PayPal), identity-verification partners, email and hosting providers, and authorities where legally required. We never sell your personal data.

6. How long we keep it

We keep account and transaction records while your account is active and for the period required by UK tax and accounting law, then delete or anonymise them.

7. Your rights

Under UK GDPR you may access, correct, delete, restrict or port your data, object to processing, and withdraw consent at any time. Email privacy@selltrove.uk to exercise these rights. You may also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).

8. Security

We protect data with encryption in transit, hashed passwords, access controls and encrypted storage of sensitive credentials. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to industry standards.
